My book review- Tinsel by Sibeal Pounder

Tinsel is an amazing Christmas book that I really enjoyed reading. The story is about a girl called Blanche and her best friend who want to change Christmas forever but people want to stop her. My whole family loved this book and I would definitely recommend it. I would rate this book 9/10 because I loved the funny bits, including all of the Carols. It was exciting and the girls were heroic and brave, this was a great spin on usual Santa stories being male.

My book review-Skeleton Keys The Unimaginary Friend By Guy Bass

Skeleton Keys is an amazing story about friendship. This story was fun to read with my sister and mum. I loved the plot twists and I can't wait to read another book in the series. This book is about a little boy who has no friendship but has imaginary friends. Skeleton Keys is a great character who has keys for fingers made out of bones, the drawings are amazing and I loved looking at them all. There is also a section where skeleton Keys talks to you in the book directly. I would give this book an 8.5 beacuse I loved it and it is very different. I am currently reading the next book The Legend of Gap-Tooth Jack.

My book review-A Tale of Witchcraft By Chris Colfer - 2nd in the series

A tale of Witchcraft is an amazing book and I really enjoyed it as much as the first book, A Tale of Magic. I would recommend this book if you loved A Tale of Magic because it has all the same characters and continues the story. I loved all the magic and plot twists. If you are a fan of magic and adventure, this book is a great one to read alone or with the family. My mum, dad, 8 year old sister and Grandma have all read this book and they all loved it just as much as me ! Every time we stopped reading it on a night to go to bed, my sister and I would say, " We don't want to stop reading, what will happen next, please continue reading ! " This story covers mental health and is about the importance of support from friends and family. Brystal is feeling negative but can her friends help her, especially since a school of witchcraft has also just opened which can effect the fairies. I would give this book a 10 / 10 because I really enjoyed reading it and the plot twists are amazing ! I can't wait to find out more about the third book in this series and when it will be released.

My book review-The Incredible Record smashers By Jenny Pearson

The Incredible Record Smashers is an amazing book because I like all of the action in it, its informative and funny. The way the story is written is brilliant with lots of things going on in the story and humour. I was so glad I got to review this book early, as Jenny Pearson is a brilliant author and I knew from the cover of this book it would be just as brilliant as her last book. I found it interesting talking about mental Health and learnt alot as I didn't know much about it before reading this book, I think it is a good thing to explain this through a book that isn't just a fact book and it is encorporated into the story well. We thought Wilbur was funny and my sister Arrietty refused to eat water melons after reading the book. Even though things didn't go to plan in the story, it worked out in the end and the story showed that friends are really important. I laughed out loud at the marriage proposal! I think the characters were great and I love that Lucy wears glasses in the story and glasses on the cover !Me and my sister both enjoyed reading this I would definitely recommend this book and would give the book a rating of 8.5/10. I would definitely read it if you enjoyed The Super Miraculous Journey of Freddie Yates.

My book review-The Super Miraculous Journey of Freddie Yates by Jenny Pearson

The super Miraculous Journey of Freddie Yates is a fabulous story about family and friendship, showing that family doesn't have to be people who you are related to, it is about people that you love. Freddie Yates is very funny and easy to read, meaning once you start you want to keep reading on. It makes you laugh and also have a tear in your eye when talking about death in a good way with Freddie's Grandma, with her funny stories. I spent a whole day reading this, only stopping for breakfast, lunch and tea. My 7 year old sister absolutely loved this book and laughed alot. Jennie has a great way of writing her stories. Freddie Yates is perfect for getting 7 year olds excited about reading as well as a 10 year old (me) and my mum. I have recommended this book to several relatives and friends and can not wait to review her next book. I would rate this book 9 / 10

My book review-Hotel Flamingo by Alex Milway

This book is called the Flamingo Hotel because the story is about a Hotel Called Flamingo Hotel, which is welcome for all animals and people, even cockroaches. My favourite character is Anna becauase she is very determined. This story is very funny and is really cool. Inside the front of the book it even says it is addressed to Arrietty, the name of my sister, so that's unusual and cool. I loved all of the books illustrations and they made me smile. I would give this book a rating of 8 out of 10.

My book review-Midnight Magic by Michelle Harrison

This is a fictional book and I love that it is based on a cat's point of view, who lives with a family. The cat has magical powers. 

I love all of the illustrations and the story. 

I think this book is perfect for any reader from 6+ as it has colourful drawings and is thinner than a Middle Grade chapter book, I would recommend this book and think Michelle Harrison is a brilliant author, if you like this book then check out her other books.

I would give this book 8/10

My book review - Generation Hope by Kimberlie Hamilton

 This book us a factual non fiction book.

There are lots of interesting and cool facts in this book, about the environment, bullying, young people that inspired others and designed important things used today. 

I liked there is text but also speech bubbles that are really easy to read and in different colours and text so it breaks it up.  I loved the pictures, the pages are really colourful especially the people wearing glasses in it. 

I really liked the parts where it told you what you could do to help the environment. 

I think this book is suitable for all ages.

I would give this book a 9/10

My book review - Audrey Orr and The Robot Rage

This is a Fiction book, the story is about a girl called Audrey, her mum winning a holiday in a competition and a robot. 

The book covers how important family is.

The front cover is illustrated really cool and excellently drawn, with glasses too !!

I love all of the adventures and mystery. 

I would give this book 8 out of 10 and read, it quickly as it was so enjoyable. 

My book review- We won an island by Charlotte Lo

This is a fictional book about a family who are going to get evicted.

I love how it's a great story but it's also funny.

I read this book quite quickly as it was so enjoyable.

My favourite character was the main girl.

I would give this book an 8.5 out of 10 because it was an excellent story.

My book review -The Unadoptables - Hana Tooke

This is a fiction book about a group of kids who are given to the orphanage, they were left in a completely different way.  They are too old to be adopted seperately and a bad man tries to adopt them to make them do chores for him. The story is about bravery and fighting back.
I love the characters and the plot twists and everything about the book, without giving too much away. The story gets more exciting the more you read. My favourite character is the owl called Mozart.
The book is hard back with a cover on, it is beautifully illustrated and underneath the cover has even more details, a hidden surprise.
This book is 10/10, it is amazing. The story, characters, plot twists, I just couldn't put it down.
I have only ever given Harry Potter 10/10, so this shows how much I enjoyed reading it and hope there are more books from Hana to come.
